*Look to the Cross..........March 2

"It is good for us now and then to have some troubles and adversities......
Such things are often an aid to humility and keep us from vainglory."

IMITATION OF CHRIST by Thomas A. Kempis

Translation of French words.
"THE LAMENT OF THE EXILED SOUL.
Lord! ... my soul is burning and perishing from being unable to fly off to Thy beautiful Heaven!"

Very appropriate in my life.
In times of trouble I thank Him for speaking to me and I thank you Micki for being the tool that he uses.
God bless you for your love for Him and others. It is a wonderful thing to be a servant to the Most Heavenly!

Our crosses are a tremendous source of grace, if we just give our crosses to Jesus and unite them to His sufferings and death on the cross!
Thanks for such a beautiful card!
That translation, John, is so powerful!

John - Another beautiful translation. Thank you.

Zetor - Glad we can bring some inspiration into your day.

Ally - Your words sooth like silk. Thank you. Hope things are going better.

Diane - I so agree. If only more people would offer their sufferings up or attach them to the sufferings of Christ. Let's pray we remember to do this when we are suffering.

Prayerflowers - woops, just got knocked over with your hug.
Have a good week dear MA.
